SensoBaby has been brewing in the REWA creative pot for over two years and has finally come together with a team of wonderfully passionate mothers and professionals, Caroline Gartland, Fehmida Adam Arbi, Jennifer Fuller and Priyanka Handa Ram.

We are Gaborone’s first play centre for babies and toddlers, offering daily “Mommy & Me” style classes packed full of wonder, discovery and learning for you and your 0-4’s at the REWA Education Centre, Maruapula.

The inspiration behind SensoBaby is our own children and the desire to nurture their potential, challenge their growing minds and share in their amazement of the world. We want to be able to expose our children to a multitude of constructive play and learning activities that stimulate their senses and prepare them for lifelong learning by instilling virtues of creativity, inspiration and risk-taking.

With the expertise of specialists in wellness & mental health, literacy and education, early childhood as well as marketing and yoga, we were able to put together a team that can provide a holistic range of classes to suit your baby’s emerging needs and demands.

Borne out of countless cups of tea (and lemonade), with play dates that were coupled as board meetings, innovation and inspiration brought about an essential curricula for babies and toddlers.

Our classes range are by age range and offer activities from Storytelling to Art, Sensory Play to Yoga & Action Play, Cooking and Baby Sign. We also offer external services for mums and their children through franchise programmes such as Kindermusik.

To supplement the ever-growing need for early childhood support, SensoBaby also recognises the vital role that fathers play in the development of their children and will have monthly Daddy-Days, parenting workshops, Antenatal Classes and a nurturing New-Mums Care programme (SensoNana).

SensoBaby at REWA is a unique and holistic centre for families and children that seeks to nurture values of wonder, connectedness and shared learning.
